Federal Appeals Court Rules Against Weaver’s Cove Energy
The Boston Globe reports that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on Friday dismissed Weaver’s Cove Energy’s claim that Rhode Island and Massachusetts regulators waived their right to deny the company’s dredging permits because the state agencies failed to act on the permit applications within one year. A spokesperson for Weaver’s Cove said that the company is still reviewing the decision.
