Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick C. Lynch (D) criticized a new plan proposed by Weaver’s Cove Energy that would include offloading LNG in Mount Hope Bay and transporting it via pipeline for storage in Fall River, Mass. Lynch said, “From an environmental standpoint, this proposal is even more invasive of Mount Hope bay than the plans that have been previously rejected.” See the Providence Journal for additional coverage.
