Bradwood Landing Opponents Pursuing Referendum on Zoning Law Changes

The Daily Astorian reports that opponents of NorthernStar Natural Gas’ Bradwood Landing LNG terminal will seek a referendum on the twenty-seven changes to county land-use laws that the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners approved when they granted the project its Land Use Compatibility Statement. Organizers of the referendum have not yet begun seeking the 607  voter signatures needed to put the issue on the ballot. A NorthernStar spokesperson declined to comment on the proposed referendum.
