Local Official Concerned About Approval Delays for Maple LNG
Speaking to Canadian radio station 101.5 FM, Guysborough Warden Lloyd Hines expressed concern that environmental permits required for the Maple LNG terminal proposed for Nova Scotia, Canada, will delay final approval of the project. Hines specifically named the Roseate Tern, an endangered species of bird with habitat near the terminal’s proposed site, as reason for the delay.
