Settlement Proposed in Gas Quality Proceeding
Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] reports that Algonquin Gas Transmission, a subsidiary of Spectra Energy, has filed at FERC a proposed settlement agreement in its gas quality proceeding. According to Algonquin, the settlement, which would limit nitrogen in the gas stream to a maximum of 2.75%, has the support of its directly connected customers, as well as “several of the major [LNG] importers.” Comments on the proposed settlement are due March 11.
