According to the Canadian Press (carried via Oilweek), Repsol Energy Canada V.P. Denis Marcoux said that Canaport LNG will receive cargos from Trinidad & Tobago, as well as other sources. “We’re not in the same situation as Gros Cacouna because our project is certified, is under construction,” Marcoux said, referring to the supply issues facing Gros Cacouna LNG following a decision by Gazprom not to invest in the Baltic LNG liquefaction project.
