Speaking to The Bahama Journal, Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham said that his government has not reached a final decision on the LNG regasification projects proposed for the country. Ingraham went on to note that “[w]e will look at the situation and make some judgments, but [LNG] was not a matter when we came to office that we gave very high priority to.” However, a spokesperson for AES, one of the American companies backing an LNG proposal, said that he expected a project to move forward when the new administration was more established.
