Oregon Senator Answers Constituents’ Questions on LNG
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Seaside, Ore., U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) answered questions from constituents on a broad range of topics, including LNG projects proposed for the region. According to the Daily Astorian, Sen. Wyden expressed concern with the federal regulatory review process and stated that he planned to host a meeting in Oregon for FERC Commissioner JonWellinghoff to visit the proposed LNG sites and hear from local residents. Speaking about the federal review process, Sen. Wyden said, “Until we have a fair process, I’m not behind it.”
