The Daily Astorian reports that Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski (D) noted at a Monday meeting that he views LNG as “a bridge” from old energy technology to cleaner, renewable sources. He also commented on the nation’s need to achieve energy independence through publicly acceptable sources. LNG terminals have been proposed for Bradwood and Coos Bay, Ore.
