Anti-LNG Group Advises Investors to Abandon LNG Projects in Maine

According to the Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada), LNG opposition group Save Passamaquoddy Bay Canada argues that three regasification terminals proposed for Maine are not feasible because of a lack of Coast Guard resources and Canadian opposition to tanker traffic in Head Harbour Passage. The group’s chair told the Telegraph-Journal investors “are wasting their money and should put [their resources] into a project that has some chances of success.”
