The Powell River Peak reports that Texada Action Now (TAN) has gathered the signatures of 84% of Texada Island’s adult population on petitions opposing WestPac LNG’s terminal proposal. Stu Leson, president of WestPac LNG, told the publication, “Certainly, in our minds, they need more information about the project before they can make an informed decision. We’re still in a dialogue process.”
