Industry Executives Say LNG Projects May Benefit Environment and Local Economies
The Record (N.J.) reports that at the New Jersey Energy Summit yesterday, ExxonMobil’s vice president for research said that his company’s proposed BlueOcean Energy LNG terminal would promote economic growth and reduce air emissions in New Jersey. The president of BP Gas America, the conference’s keynote speaker, said that BP’s planned Crown Landing LNG terminal alone would generate $1.1 billion in economic activity for the state.
