Maine BEP Reverses Decision on Downeast LNG Application Withdrawal
The Maine Board of Environmental Protection (BEP) yesterday reversed its earlier decision and will allow Downeast LNG to withdraw its project application and submit an alternate pipeline route after the original route was rejected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The 5-3 decision also will allow Downeast LNG to submit supplemental information on other aspects of the proposal. Read more in the Bangor Daily News.
