Emera Expects to Complete Gas Pipeline by November 2008
A spokesperson for Emera Brunswick Pipeline told the Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada) that despite a recent adverse decision by the Canadian National Energy Board (NEB), the company still expects to have its gas pipeline constructed and in service by November 2008. The proposed pipeline will connect the Canaport LNG import terminal in Saint John to the Maritimes and Northeast Pipeline at the Canada-United States border.
