Following the release of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement by the U.S. Coast Guard and MARAD on Calypso LNG, Calypso project manager Dan McGinnis told Reuters that if the licensing process goes smoothly, he expects construction to begin in May 2008 and commercial operations to begin in Summer 2010. McGinnis also noted that the project cost estimate is currently over $350 million.
