Fall River, Mass., Mayor Edward Lambert Jr. and other city officials met yesterday to discuss plans to continue opposing the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal. Despite a recent decision by the U.S. Coast Guard to reject the project’s proposed LNG tanker route, Mayor Lambert told the Fall River Herald News, “The intention is to go at this with the same perspective and aggressiveness that we always have until this project goes away.”
