Excelerate Donates Funds to Local Energy Conservation, Wind Power Projects
The Gloucester Daily Times (Mass.) reports that the developer of the Northeast Gateway Energy Bridge LNG terminal, Excelerate Energy LLC, has donated $500,000 to two local groups to help fund fuel assistance programs and energy conservation projects in Massachusetts. Excelerate also donated $400,000 to Mass Energy to assist in the development of a wind energy project in the state. Rob Bryngelson, Excelerate’s president and CEO, said, “We know our energy future, especially in the near term, must be a mix of fossil and renewable fuels. That is why Excelerate wanted to fund a renewable energy project somewhere along the Massachusetts shore.”
