Editorial: Oregon Governor Must Engage the LNG Issue

In reaction to a favorable decision on NorthernStar Natural Gas’s Bradwood Landing LNG terminal proposal at the county level, an editorial in the Daily Astorian advocates “active engagement” by Governor Ted Kulongoski (D-Ore.) regarding LNG terminal siting. The editorial notes that the states of Washington, California, and Oregon have created unified policies on other issues, and calls for such an initiative on LNG.
