Op-Ed: California Lt. Governor Only Sees Limited Role for LNG in State’s Energy Portfolio
A column in the Ventura County Star reviews Lt. Gov. John Garamendi’s (D) continued opposition to LNG playing a major role in California’s energy future. Last week Garamendi predicted that the state’s recent approval of the North Baja gas line from Sempra Energy’s Costa Azul LNG terminal in Mexico to the California market would eliminate the need for any terminal to be sited in California in the near future.
