Study Predicts Crown Landing Project Would Add $1.2 Billion to South New Jersey Economy

The Gloucester Times (N.J.) reports that a Rutgers University study commissioned by BP concludes that the Crown Landing LNG terminal would add up to $1.2 billion to the southern New Jersey economy by creating 1,600 jobs and increasing personal income and tax revenues. The most likely alternative use of the site, as a warehouse facility, would generate only one third of that amount for the state, according to the study.
