BHP Billiton to Close Oxnard Office; SES Continues Pursuit of Long Beach Terminal
Natural Gas Intelligence reports that BHP Billiton will close its Oxnard, Calif., office by the end of July and the company has confirmed that its Cabrillo Port LNG proposal is now dead. NGI further reports that Sound Energy Solutions (SES), a joint venture between ConocoPhillips and Mitsubishi, continues to pursue its terminal proposal for the Port of Long Beach, despite setbacks.
