AES Opposes LNG Rule in Maryland Court

AES Corp., the developer backing the Sparrows Point LNG facility, has filed a complaint with the Baltimore County Circuit Court alleging that that the Baltimore County Council and the Maryland Critical Areas Commission improperly approved a rule that prohibits LNG terminals from being built in certain environmentally sensitive portions of the Chesapeake Bay in Baltimore County. AES has also appealed the rule in Federal court. The Baltimore Sun has details.
