Op-Ed: LNG Developers’ Miscalculations Undermined Projects in California

An op-ed in the Santa Monica Mirror says sponsors of California’s LNG projects focused lobbying efforts on the office of Governor Schwarzenegger, and failed to recognize the importance of other key elected decision-makers in the state. The editorial also claims that developers overestimated the state’s need for LNG, and that LNG is all but dead in California, regardless of Gov. Schwarzenegger’s pending decision regarding the Cabrillo Port project.
