FERC: Port Dolphin Applies for Pipeline Permits
Yesterday, FERC issued a Notice of Application concerning Port Dolphin Energy LLC’s request for approval of a 5.8-mile pipeline from its proposed Port Dolphin LNG import terminal. The pipeline would transport gas from the offshore terminal to interconnections with the Gulfstream and Tampa Electric Company (TECO) pipeline systems near Port Manatee, Fla. The USCG will serve as the lead agency in developing the Environmental Impact Statement for the facility’s associated onshore pipeline. The application is available in FERC’s eLibrary in Docket No. CP07-191.
