Passamaquoddy Tribe Sells Land to Quoddy Bay LNG
The Bangor Daily News reports that the Passamaquoddy Tribe has completed the sale of a 308-acre piece of land to Quoddy Bay LNG for $1.5 million. The sale was approved by the Tribe in March and will only become final if Quoddy LNG’s proposal in Split Rock, Maine, gains FERC approval. The site will be utilized to facilitate construction and early operations of the terminal.
