Oregon Senator Requests Answers About FERC Review Process
In a letter filed with FERC on April 2, U.S. Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) requested safety and environmental assurances from the Commission regarding the LNG terminals proposed in Oregon. The Commission responded by clarifying the roles of various agencies in the terminal review process and referring the Senator to Bradwood Landing’s pending draft environmental impact statement. Senator Wyden’s letter and FERC’s response may be found in the e-Library in Docket No. CP06-365. The Daily Astorian provides local coverage.
