Record Month Predicted for U.S. LNG Imports

According to the North American Terminal Survey, presently the five U.S. regasification terminals are regasifying LNG at the rate of about 2.6 Bcf/d. Consistent with its recent practice of sending out over 1 Bcf/d, the Lake Charles terminal set another record yesterday, sending out 1.5 Bcf.  NATS also reports that Excelerate used its Gulf of Mexico offloading buoy yesterday for the first time since August.  Further information, including the daily output from U.S. and Spanish terminals, is available at NATS.
