In a 229 to 211 vote, Perry, Maine residents approved a $3.6 million per year agreement with Quoddy Bay LNG, the developer of the proposed LNG terminal in Split Rock. “The Perry community has made it clear that it understands and embraces all of the opportunities associated with the project by accepting this agreement,” said project manager Brian Smith.
