Op-Ed: Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica Should Not Let LNG Cause Conflict

Jamaica Gleaner published an op-ed Sunday, written by the acting editor of The Trinidad Guardian, responding to a Gleaner editorial that had criticized the government of Trinidad for refusing to supply Jamaica with LNG. The op-ed blames multi-national corporations for creating the conflict and calls on each nation’s leaders to “talk about these issues in such a way that the looming regional trade war is nipped in the bud.”
