Maple LNG Terminal Receives Environmental Approval

Maple LNG’s proposed LNG import facility in Nova Scotia has won environmental approval, according to a press release issued yesterday. “This approval strengthens our position and enables us to go to the next level with the feedstock supplier,” said the president of Keltic Petrochemicals, Inc. Keltic, which sold the LNG facility to Maple LNG in March 2006, plans to use the natural gas as feedstock for its integrated petrochemical plant on the same site.
