An Oxnard, Calif., resident urges Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to oppose the development of LNG terminals in California. She raises a range of concerns related to LNG importation, including air and water pollution, and damage to pipeline seals, infrastructure, and consumer appliances due to “hot” gas. She also contends that U.S. domestic supply and Canadian imports can adequately meet consumer demand in California. The Ventura County Star carries her op-ed. [Free registration necessary]
