Local residents expressed their views regarding the proposed Jordan Cove LNG terminal during a public hearing held Thursday in Coos Bay, Ore. Some attendees raised concerns about the impact that LNG vessel exclusion zones may have on commercial and recreational fishing; others worried about the terminal’s proposed location in a tsunami zone. However, some attendees were in favor of the terminal, welcoming the prospect of new jobs. The World provides further coverage.
