FERC Approves Cameron’s Proposed Pipeline Modifications
FERC has determined that Cameron Interstate Pipeline LLC’s proposal to increase the diameter of the pipeline facilities from 36 inches to 42 inches, which is associated with the Cameron LNG terminal in Louisiana, will not adversely impact consumers or the environment. In an order issued December 20, the Commission also approved the company’s plan to modify its tariff to account for costs associated with the construction of an additional 1.1 miles of pipeline and three interconnections. The order may be found in the FERC e-Library in Docket No. CP05-119-002.
