The Boston Globe has endorsed Excelerate Energy’s Northeast Gateway LNG project and, pending satisfactory environmental review, Suez Energy’s Neptune LNG project, both of which are proposed for offshore Massachusetts. “Approval of the offshore terminals is a way for the region to secure the LNG it needs without endangering Fall River,” where Weaver’s Cove Energy has planned a land-based LNG terminal, the editorial staff said.
