The New Haven Register reports that Connecticut State Sen. Leonard A. Fasano (R-North Haven) has requested a meeting with FERC officials to discuss Broadwater Energy’s proposed LNG terminal in Long Island Sound. Fasano, who is the head of Connecticut’s state-commissioned LNG task force, also told reporters that FERC has not responded to the task force’s Dec. 7 request for a deadline extension to submit comments on the project’s draft environmental impact statement.
