Atlantic LNG’s Train 4 in Trinidad and Tobago is expected to start full commercial operations next year, according to chief executive officer Oscar Prieto. He maintained that production delays have been caused by a gas shortage, not structural problems. “As soon as we have all the gas together we will be able to operate at full rate. Nothing (is) structurally wrong with the train, nothing that should worry us in the long term,” Prieto said. However, a senior official with Trinidad & Tobago’s Ministry of Energy denied a supply shortfall, as did BP Trinidad and Tobago’s vice-president of marketing. Read more in The Jamaica Gleaner.
