Opponents of Brunswick Pipeline Express Views Before Energy Board
The president of Nova Scotia Business Inc. yesterday testified before the Canadian National Energy Board that cheaper tolls on Emera Inc.’s proposed Brunswick Pipeline, which would deliver gas to the U.S. from the planned Canaport LNG terminal, would put the Keltic and Bear Head LNG terminals in Nova Scotia at a competitive disadvantage. While opposing the proposed pipeline, he expressed optimism that both Nova Scotian projects would proceed despite the competition. The president of Keltic Petrochemicals, which is one of two developers of the Keltic import facility, also expressed opposition to the pipeline. Read more in The Chronicle Herald.
