Lynn City Council Postpones Vote on LNG Security Ordinance

The Lynn City Council postponed for the second time a vote on an ordinance that directs KeySpan to implement specific security measures at its LNG storage facility in Lynn, Mass. The feasibility of a provision requiring KeySpan to connect the facility’s security feed to the Lynn Police Department is still under review, among other items. “I think it would have been premature to move on with it,” City Council President Tim Phelan said.
