The Boston Herald reports that several prominent New England lawmakers who will assume congressional committee positions have expressed a desire to revamp the current case-by-case method of evaluating proposed LNG terminals. “The seismic shift in Congress holds great promise for finally advancing a thoughtful regional approach on the siting of LNG terminals,” according to a staff attorney at the Conversation Law Foundation.
