Shortage of Natural Gas Leading to Inactive Liquefaction Projects

A shortage of feedstock gas has led to a number of global liquefaction projects operating at less than full capacity, according to this week’s edition of World Gas Intelligence. The publication attributes the shortfall to, among other things, declining reserves and political unrest in LNG-producing countries such as Oman, Malaysia, Nigeria, and Trinidad & Tobago.
