FERC Approves Golden Pass Pipeline Alterations

FERC last week approved modifications to the route of the natural gas pipeline that would link the Golden Pass LNG terminal in Sabine Pass, Texas, to the American Electric Power (AEP) Texoma Pipeline, an intrastate pipeline in Texas. The alterations will reduce the project’s “total footprint” on wetlands by 40 acres. FERC’s Oct. 4 order may be found in the e-Library in Docket No. CP04-400-001.
