DOE Schedules Fourth LNG Educational Session in Houston

The U.S. Department of Energy will hold its fourth public education forum addressing LNG-related topics in Houston on November 29, 2006. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 mandated that the department hold three such forums. The purpose of these forums according to Jeffrey Jarrett, Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy, is to “initiate constructive dialogue among community members, local, state and federal leaders.” Previous forums took place in Boston, Astoria, Ore., and Los Angeles.
