Public Comments Sought for Keltic LNG Environmental Report
The Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour has released an environmental assessment report prepared for Keltic Petrochemicals’ proposed LNG terminal in Goldboro, concluding that “under normal planned operations none of the predicted [r]esidual [e]ffects are [s]ignificant.” However, the report notes a few exceptions, such as “a small loss of habitat for terrestrial birds and animals.” Public comments on the report may be submitted to the Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board through Oct. 30.
