An Astoria, Ore. resident urges interested parties to attend today’s tour of the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG terminal site and “ask the hard questions” about the project’s impact on the community. In an op-ed published by The Daily Astorian, Tom Duncan describes his attempt to visit the Dominion Cove Point LNG terminal in Maryland and the security measures he encountered there; he concludes that a similar facility “on the Columbia River would entail major encroachments on our customary way of doing things.”
