World Gas Intelligence takes a closer look at the contrast between Qatar Petroleum’s desire for more flexibility with regard to LNG and ExxonMobil’s more conservative methodology. Despite ExxonMobil’s historically more structured approach in the petroleum markets, however, an industry analyst notes that “the network [for Qatari LNG] being created has the potential to be very flexible” and ExxonMobil may be forced to modify its approach in response.
