A Bahamas resident says that LNG terminals can help diversify the Bahamian economy, which traditionally has depended on tourism. In response to safety concerns raised by opponents, he argues that “[i]t’s ridiculous to think that because the plant is to be built in the Bahamas, that there would be compromises in design.” His op-ed is in The Nassau Guardian.
