Jordan Cove Requests Extension to Address Public Comments

The World reports that Jordan Cove Energy has requested additional time to respond to public concerns raised in connection with the developer’s LNG terminal proposed for Coos Bay, Ore. In a motion filed with FERC on Aug. 7, the developer says it needs “another 30 days” because it has not yet been able to review the transcripts of last month’s public meetings and comments filed with FERC. Jordan Cove project director Bob Braddock says the deadline extension also is necessary to address “fuzzy” comments and questions.
