FERC Requests That Quoddy Bay and Downeast Refile Draft Resource Reports

In letters to Quoddy Bay and Downeast LNG, Richard Hoffman, director of FERC’s Division of Gas – Environment and Engineering, requested the LNG terminal developers submit a complete set of revised draft Resource Reports to address issues previously raised by FERC. “Due to the scope of information not included in the initial draft Resource Reports, additional staff review of the revised draft Resource Reports is recommended prior to filing of any formal application,” Hoffman wrote to Quoddy Bay. Among the information missing from the developers’ draft reports previously filed with FERC is a description of the pipeline portion of the projects, which must be included in the pre-filing review. The letters to Quoddy Bay and Downeast LNG are available in the FERC e-Library in Docket Nos. PF06-11 and PF06-13, respectively. [This post was updated August 29, 2006, to include Downeast as well as Quoddy Bay.]
