Appellate Court Consolidates Appeals in Weaver’s Cove Matter
A federal appellate judge has ordered opponents of the Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal to consolidate their appeals of FERC’s July 2005 approval of the project and denial of a rehearing, according to today’s Herald News. The Conservation Law Foundation, the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board, attorneys general from Rhode Island and Massachusetts, the City of Fall River, and one citizen have until Oct. 4 to a submit joint filing.
