Mass. Bill Said to Impact Proposed Offshore LNG ports
The Marblehead Reporter today reports on a bill proposed by Mass. State Sen. Robert O’Leary to develop a new comprehensive ocean management plan regulating activities in Massachusetts state waters. The plan would include review of pipelines that enter state waters from offshore projects, such as the proposed Neptune LNG deepwater port, that are located in federal waters. Supporters are hoping to pass the bill before the legislative session ends on July 31. The bill, Senate No. 529, is available through the Mass. General Court website.
